The strategies I mostly used to keep my class engaged are;a)Think,Pair and Share –I give students a question or topic, let them think independently, discuss with a classmate, and then share their ideas with the class. This helps them build confidence skills
and b)Taking ownership of their learning;For example,while teaching instructional text I might have students follow or create their step-by-step guides. This gives them sense of responsibilities.
